Campbeltown Brass

Eilidh Brian Euphonium

Eilidh Brain started playing on baritone when she was in primary 5 and joined Campbeltown Brass on euphonium when she was 12. She is also a member of the Campbeltown Brass Quintet and won the NYBBS Reserve Solo Competition in 2004.

Her brother and sister, Donald and Ciara are members of the Youth band, Donald plays tuba and Ciara plays horn.

At Christmas in 2003, she received a nice present in the form of a Sovereign Euphonium, which she calls "Sovreigna"!!!

Best banding moment: Playing a duet with Alison Bonner at the Youth Band training weekend.
Worst banding moment: 1st band trip away, I was very ill!
Best or most satisfying playing experience: Winning the NYBBS Reserves' Trophy.
Favourite drink: Ribena.
Favourite food: Burgers.
Favourite film: Rat Race.
Words of wisdom: Exercise is such a waste of energy!
