Campbeltown Brass

Jillian Ogilvie   Percussion

Ever since Jillian's sister came home with a euphonium, Jillian had wanted to play in the brass band. So when she was handed a clarinet at the age of 9, she was very disappointed. After about a year of playing she joined the wind band, but it was the percussion section that caught her eye, so when she was 11, she joined Campbeltown's percussion section!

When she was 12, Jillian was all set to go to her 1st NYBBS Reserve course, but 4 days prior, she broke her leg. Although she went back the next year to the Reserves and got promoted into the NYBBS band.

Jillian is still at school but hopes to join a band either playing clarinet or percussion when she goes to university.
