Andrew Ralston   1st Trombone

Andrew Ralston has been playing trombone since the age of 10, as it was the only instrument he could get a note out of!!

He has been playing 1st trombone in Campbeltown Brass from the age of 15 and was a member of NYBBS for a number of years.

Andrew works on the family farm and has done so since leaving school.

Favourite piece: Year of the Dragon.
Best banding moment: In 1996, when we qualified for the Nationals. 
Worst banding moment: Coming last in the Area in 2002.
Best or most satisfying playing experience: Playing with the band in Glasgow's Royal concert hall, to a packed audience.
Favourite drink: Vodka and coke.
Favourite food: Steak and Chips.
Favourite film: The Shawshank Redemption.
