Scottish Challenge Contest
18th November 2023
This year we are especially delighted that so many players have moved up from the Junior Band to Senior Band and risen brilliantly to the challenge of senior band. Andrew McMillan took to the podium to conduct the band at Perth.
It has been a busy academic year so far with Andrew and Owen Pickering, previous Campbeltown Brass members, joining the team as teachers for the young brass students in the band. Andrew is currently solo horn player for Scottish champions Whitburn and Owen plays bass trombone for the award winning Kirkintilloch band, both rising stars in their field and in much demand throughout the UK. We are very fortunate to have them working with our up and coming students.
We would like to thank them for all their hard work and commitment.
